Small Group Florida Keys Eco Tour by Boat

Overview
Tour the Florida Bay looking for dolphins and manatees while listening to an overview of the Florida Keys ecosystem.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience! We also have a cooler stocked with ice, so feel free to bring any other snacks or drinks.

We had a couple of days in Key Largo and inquired where to go to see Manatees. We were told at the Dolphin rescue to book with Captain Boyd in Pirates Cove. My wife and I were the only 2 (boat max is 6) for our tour and The Captain was able to teach us about the area as well as going into the open bays and find the Manatees. We didn't want to just patrol canals - we wanted open natural habitat. A fantastic adventure.

Beautiful day on a pontoon boat traversing the waterways around Key Largo. The 4 in our group and the other couple made for a small and intimate group for the almost 2 hour tour. The ride was smooth, the sky was clear, and the breeze was mild. The perfect weather made the ride very enjoyable. The captain was able to navigate the boat into areas where we were able to see many manatees. The captain also gave a good presentation on the flora and fauna found in and around the waterways. In addition, the captain was able to talk about the history of the area as well as how the rock formations were from sea coral. Recommend this tour for any age.
