I am so happy I booked this tour. This was the first time seeing the Grand Canyon, and Jen made it a top-notch experience! She seasoned the day with interesting stops like the Cameron Trading Post, excellent descriptions of what we saw along the way, minimized our wait time by knowing at which park entrance to begin (I hate sitting in traffic). She is a fantastic story teller and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My partner and I went on the day trip tour of the Grand Canyon from Flagstaff on December 19th 2017. We had the most fantastic time! Our tour guide, Scott Fischbach, was incredibly knowledgeable: he taught us the geological history of the Canyon and surrounding area, pointed out the different flora and fauna, and gave us lots of information on the Indigenous peoples of the region. We were thoroughly impressed by the breadth of his knowledge and how he picked up on our interests in order to target the tour to us! Since our tour happened to have only the two of us on it, we got to spend lots of time taking in the scenery and taking photos at our leisure. The bus was comfy and lunch at the cafeteria was yummy. Overall, we loved the views and enjoyed just chatting with our guide throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Scott and Grand Canyon Adventures to anyone.

We booked the tour for Saturday, Dec 16. The two of us happened to be the only ones on Jen's tour that day. That allowed us to sort of dictate how long we stayed in each spot, which was really nice. As another reviewer wrote, Jen possesses a wealth of knowledge. She has lots of experience from many different locales and seems well-read regarding many topics. You can tell that Jen really enjoys her guide work and sharing her knowledge of the area as well as her passion for the ravens that we saw flying near the watchtower. It was relaxing and convenient to be picked up right at our hotel in Flagstaff and a great opportunity to learn about and see the Grand Canyon without worrying about driving or directions.
