Alfonso was the best ever! Amazing day and an unforgettable experience. Trip was well thought out and tour guide was second to none. Pictures looked to be professionally done and will be kept forever. There is no competition for Grand Adventure Tours! This trip will be recommended to all friends, family, and strangers!!

What an absolutely incredible day our guide Alfonso gave us. When we booked the tour we were expecting a group size of around 10 but we got incredibly lucky and there were just the two of us so Alfonso made this a really personal experience. This particular tour first takes you to the Hoover Dam, the historic town of Seligman and Route 66, and then onto the Grand Canyon South Rim before the trip back to Vegas. The views we saw were incredible, especially the stunning sunset at the end. Alfonso found us some fantastic spots for photos and was eager to take great shots for us. His amazing enthusiasm really made the trip, and he had lots of rich history to share with us. It was clear he loved running these tours! The only thing I would have liked to have done extra is actually walk across the top of the Hoover Dam. However this tour starts early and finishes late so I don't know where you'd find the time to fit it in. This tour was amazing and I cannot recommend it enough - it was worth every penny!

We had an awesome tour with Alfonso our driver and guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and took such time to take great photos of us at each place. We were really lucky that there were only 2 of us on the tour and yet the went ahead anyway. This is the only 1 day tour from Las Vegas that will stop at the Hoover Dam and stay at the Grand Canyon for sunset as well as the only small group tour and I feel is highly worth the extra money. We were collected from our hotel at 6.15, we stopped at McDonalds for breakfast on the outskirts of Vegas (breakfast included in the price) we then drove half an hour to Hoover Dam, with great commentary along they way - we leant so much about Vegas and the Dam which is so impressive. We then drove another hour or so to a stop on Route 66 - the original highway that went from Chicago to Los Angeles and the town Seligman that radiator springs is based on the the Cars movie. Finally we drove another 2 hours to Mather point on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The views were breathtaking as we ate our provided sandwiches (they say they cater for gluten free and other dietary needs). It was a latish lunch by then and note there is a 1 hour time difference as you cross from Nevada to Arizona. We then had a slow hike along the rim and Alphonso gave us lots of information about and took loads of great photos for us. We stopped passed Yavapai Point to watch the sunset which was spectacular. Actually the whole day was overcast, but lifted just enough for an amazing sunset at the end. It was very cold and so were glad of their advice to bring coats, scarves, hats and gloves. Note the rim is around 7000ft about sea level compared to 2000ft in Las Vegas. Finally we drove the long 5 hours back in the dark arriving at our hotel at 10pm. Since we had a late lunch and they provided cookies we didn't feel the need for a dinner stop on the way back but I think they do that if you want. A long day with a lot of driving, but well worth it if you do t have time to actually stay the night at the Canyon. In summary, I'd highly recommend this company.
