Grand Canyon National Park
This Grand Canyon tour offers some of the most stunning scenery on Earth. It’s the only tour in Las Vegas that takes you out to Hopi Point, the highest and most scenic point at Grand Canyon. Only Grand Canyon shuttle buses operated in this secluded part of Grand Canyon, where the edge of earth touches the faint, blue sky. We begin our walk at Bright Angel Lodge and follow the upper rim trail to Hopi Point. The most amazing part of this walk is that each lookout point gets better and better until we arrive at the most stunning of them all, Hopi Point. The South Rim is 1,000 feet lower than the North Rim so the Grand Canyon looks like a screen drop against the sky. It’s absolutely stunning and surreal and will keep you breathless throughout the walk. The best part about walking is that we’re able to feel the peace and surrealness of the Grand Canyon wisp around us. Grand Adventures is the only tour operator to offer such a cool walking tour and experience!

My boyfriend and I had the most incredible time on this tour! I would recommend it to absolutely anyone looking for a great way to see and experience The Grand Canyon. Our tour guide Alfonso couldn’t have been better! He made multiple stops along the way, making the drive feel so quick and easy! He was a wealth of knowledge and provided us with so much interesting information regarding the history of Las Vegas and The Grand Canyon. Breakfast and lunch was both provided and he gave us opportunities to stop for snacks along the way. I also love how he made it his goal to make sure everyone on the tour left with tons of pictures of our experience (amazing quality pictures that he captured on his phone and sent to us after the trip.) I can’t think of anything that could have made this a better experience! Alfonso was hands down the best tour guide we’ve ever had and we are so grateful for all of the effort that he put into making this the best day for our group! 10/10 would recommend this tour!!

I took a walking tour with my 10-year-old son in July and had a less-than-positive experience. Our guide was Brian, and although he was very nice and kind, he was clearly new and inexperienced. His microphone stopped working at the very beginning of the drive to the Grand Canyon. Rather than trying to compensate, he just didn't give us any information about the sights along the way or do anything to make the tour feel more personalized. While on the hike (which was beautiful), he lacked basic information about the canyon and had to ask a park ranger about some of our questions (like why the layers were different colors). He willingly took photos, but they were just the, "smile and say cheese" variety. There were other less serious concerns, but basically, I felt I paid a lot of money to merely be chauffeured to and from the Grand Canyon and have someone to follow along a hike. We didn't experience any of the, "above and beyond" experiences promised on the website. The company asked for feedback after the tour, and I mentioned that I had several complaints. The owner. Darryl, quickly responded, offered a refund (without me requesting one), and asked me to call him, but he then was unable to return my calls for various reasons. I sent a detailed email listing all of the positives and negatives about my experiences once I returned home, and he returned my email describing what the company is doing to ensure the problems don't happen again on future tours. He also again said he would refund my money but was having trouble processing it due to some problems with PayPal. It's been almost exactly six months, and I haven't received my refund. He also is no longer responding to any of my calls or emails about the issue (which have only been sent once a month). It's difficult for me to believe all of the positive reviews about this company. I strongly recommend saving your money and using it to rent a car and drive yourself or taking a cheaper tour offered by another agency. Please also note how Darryl has responded to negative reviews (including my own) with personal attacks on other sites.

Luis was our guide and driver. He has seen all aspects of the Grand Canyon and his opinion that this South Rim tour is the most spectacular. Well this tour did not disappoint us at all. The different outlooks on the walking tour offer different and amazing views, with plenty of photo opportunities. The Hoover Dam and part of the old Route 66 stops along the way are well worth the inclusions on this tour. The picnic lunch provided halfway through the walking tour is very good while sitting on an ouitlook rock over looking the Canyon. Thank you Luis for a wonderful and informative tour. Be prepared for a 12 hour plus day, but it is definitely worth it.
