Overview

The wildlife at the State park is unpredictable with groupers, snappers and angel fish guaranteed and everything from dolphins, eagle rays, to manatees possible but less common. If you have good eyes or a passion for macro photography, octopus, scorpion fish, frogfish, and sea horses are present, if you can find them, in addition to the many species of blenny, crabs, mollusks, and fish. Visibility is generally 15-30'. Mild currents are normal as well.

Friend and I wanted to do a scuba refresher after not diving for a couple of COVID years. Panama City Diving was a perfect choice and Chris Maday was a well-informed, personable and entertaining instructor. The whole experience was well-planned and executed. We were in good hands with Maday! I highly recommend Panama City and look forward to booking a dive with them soon.

Excellent SHORE DIVING in PCB!! This is a very affordable and cool excursion-even if you’re not an experienced diver. Our guide ‘Mayday’ (patient man) led us into an incredible underwater aquarium around the jetty. ENORMOUS schools of fish surrounded us and moved as if they were carrying us around the jetty-incredible experience. Mayday found all sorts of weird creatures for us to see and let us take in the scenery for as long as we could. This trip will be a regular event for us when visiting PCB!!

My family of four went on a shore dive with Panama City Diving and loved it!! Ben Slaughter took us out to St. Andrews State Park and guided us around. He was awesome and showed us some amazing marine life! Thank you Ben!
