My girlfriend, Janice, and I were picked up by Eli at the Hoover Dam Lodge. He drove us to a site where we had a wide view of Lake Meade. Eli gave us a basic history of how the largest man-made lake in the nation was formed. As we were driving to the site to the top of the Hoover Dam, he imparted some details about it's construction. We walked to the side walk overlooking the dam and the Arizona - side spillway. We enjoyed the tour to the generators below, and spent some time in the gift store. As the sun was setting, we walked halfway on the new highway bridge. Janice and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Marty was extremely knowledgeable about not only the dam but Nevada in general. Very pleased with the day.

Tour guide was great! He pointed out key landmarks while traveling from Las Vegas to the Hoover Dam and also provided the history about Hoover Dam. Pickup at our hotel was timely. He stopped along the way to allow us to take photos. Once at the dam, we joined the tour offered by Hoover Dam. It was educational. Following the inside tour of the dam which lasted about 1 hour, there was plenty of time to explore the exhibit inside the visitor's center and the top of the dam. Our tour guide also stopped on the way back to Las Vegas for more photo opportunities before dropping us off at our hotel. It was a stress free experience and we highly recommend this tour!
