My husband and I did the Cave-Quest tour with Ernie and we absolutely loved everything about him and the tour itself!!! Ernie’s knowledge about probably every plant and type of article on Maui and especially during the trip along Road to Hana was fantastic! He was so entertaining, energetic, knowledgeable, and an incredible driver!! I get motion sickness pretty easily and while yes, I still did (inevitably!) with all the twists and turns, Ernie’s driving caused it to be only minor motion sickness. His driving was smooth, safe, and careful! He also had these amazing motion sickness ginger candies that immediately worked and soothed my stomach. The tour we received was beyond our expectations! He answered any questions we had and also wanted us to ask more! The stops on the Road to Hana were gorgeous and were so thankful we got to see 5 amazing places and get all the way to Hana while getting all of this amazing knowledge about what we were driving by. Also, having the opportunity to jump off a waterfall was out of this world!!!! What an experience! We loved this tour and the Road to Hana! Our knowledgeable tour guide Gayle was fantastic and gave us all the tips and tricks for navigating the island. The lava tube and black sand beach were a hit. She made the drive pleasant since she knew how to navigate the roads safely.
