Small-Group Malibu Wine Hike

Overview

The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive wine to-go.

What an amazing experience! Loved the hike, meeting Stanley and the wine tasting experience. Absolute gem! A must if you’re in Malibu.

I went on this wine hike on a whim because another friend was unable to go. Even though it was hot and there was little shade, the trail is easy enough so that even newbie hikers will be fine. I loved the zebras and albino donkey. The wines were also remarkably good. I had no idea that Malibu made such great wines. Our tour guide was wonderful, very funny and knowledgeable about the property. It was a memorable day!

I purchase tickets through Zoo Travel for Malibu Wine Hikes. The Hike was great, our guide (I forgot his name) was great on top of being very cute (;))). We walked around the property for about two hours, got to feed some alpacas, horses, and zebras. The property is huge and the views are spectacular. After the hike they took us on a van to their tasting room which is like 5 mins away from the property. This is an outdoor tasting place, so you get to enjoy the beautiful California weather. You are not allowed to take any alcoholic drinks in, just water I think. However, you can take you own food and have a picnic, which makes the experience great! We had 5 tastings so by the end of the experience we were feeling pretty good! I loved the whole thing and I so want to do it again. I encourage anyone to go for it, it's worth it!
