Small-Group Malibu Wine Hike

Overview

The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive wine to-go.

Other than one climb at the end, this was more of a leisurely stroll of the property which was great! Vines were not yet awake from winter so not much to see of the vineyard, but the rest of the property was very picturesque and we learned quite a bit of the area. The cave paintings were really cool to see. No petting the animals. Learned about the California Oak Tree and lots of pollinators to see.

Wow! Thanks to our wonderful guide PAUL we had the most amazing day ever on our hiking tour of Saddlerock Ranch vineyard! The most beautiful day ever and perfect weather. So many wonderful photo ops and Paul was more than eager to get the perfect shots for us, he was just a fun tour guide and constantly made us laugh and that helped to get great smiles in our pics! Paul told us so much history about the vineyard and wine making we feel educated enough to start our own vineyard (lol) JK. Loved the beautiful nature and the Chumash Indian history and petroglyphs was truly amazing! We would love to visit again after having such a wonderful day and will recommend to all our friends and family! Thank you Malibu Wine Hikes for such a wonderful day! Noah & Maria
