Strongly recommend the hike! Interesting walk through the vineyards learned about local wild life, fires, history. Then there are these great rescued animals including stanly the giraffe, llamas, alpaca, donkeys, and more. Really interesting and fun. It was about a mole hike to the spot we stopped for wine samples the a mile back to the parking lot. Wear shoes you can walk in! Beautiful views! Great photo ops! Recommend taking a water bottle with you they had bottled water station at check in so you could fill your bottle. At the stop we enjoyed a generous sample of a white and a red from the winery. They sell reasonably priced organic goat cheese, crackers, chocolate, and local honey in a fun painted bus! The cheese was excellent. Parking was free and they had clean portolet style bathrooms in parking lot. There were flush potties near the picnic area where we had wine. They also have wedding venues on site and special events during the year. This is worth the drive! They canāt sell he wine from the winery yet but seems they are working on a tasting room option. Maybe next trip! The wine was great too! All around great experience. Friendly, fun, kind people!
