Small-Group Malibu Wine Hike

Overview
The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive a 375 ML bottle of wine to-go.

Just went on a hike at Malibu Wines, it was my first time hiking here! What an amazing experience!! Kurt, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable of the property, animals, vegetation and history! Such an interesting and beautiful hike. It’s a cross between Hundred Acre wood and an enchanted fairyland!! Kurt stopped and took amazing photos of our group at the many gorgeous photo op spots! And the animals! Such beautiful animals and love their hilarious names!! I was sad this beautiful day had to end, but it kept me smiling for days, and the memories will last a life time! I highly recommend Malibu Wine Hikes, and ask for Kurt, you will be so glad you did!

Would recommend Malibu Wine Hikes over Malibu Wine Safari any day!! You get to spend way more time with the animals, see more of the property, and feed Stanley the Giraffe from the platform (eye level!) instead of from the ground. I joke that it should be called Malibu Wine Strolls because I do think the website FAQ is a bit misleading. Yes, you COULD wear workout clothes, but you'd be fine in sneakers & a flowy dress (as I was). There are a few dusty/rocky areas & two slightly steeper (but very short) parts of the walk but if you're a semi-active person who can do a leisurely 2 mile walk, you're fine. We had an incredible tour guide named Denholm / Denim who was grade A+ perfect tour guide -- witty, funny, knowledgeable, smart, fun! The only change they might consider making which would be fun would be fun would be some wine WITHIN the actual walk (a la the safari) or an option of a private/immediate shuttle to the tasting room. (We had to wait about 10-15 mins post hike for a shared shuttle bus to take us to the tasting room.) 10/10 would recommend. Get yourself there ASAP because there are LOTS OF TINY BABY ANIMALS THERE RIGHT NOW!!!
