Just like our regular tours, you can swim alongside manatees for even longer. Only 6 people per vessel allows for a more personal experience The price includes all equipment, full 5mm wet suits, mask, snorkel, towel service, hot chocolate, coffee, hot showers, boat coats and heated changing facility.

Outside temps were a bit warm on our visit so manatees weren't in abundance but Captain Misty and in water guide Ryan diligently worked to locate the 'tees and put us on way more than we expected to see. Misty was excellent with the boat, instructions, and offering dry towels and water, coffee, and cocoa as we exited the water. The provided wetsuits were warm and plush comfortable on the inside. Plantation Adventure Center made the entire process easy and stress free from booking online to completing the tour. It is a great experience to be in the water alongside these giant calm manatees.

This tour was as amazing as we’d hoped it would be. We’ve done many tours involving wild animals before and know there are no guarantees of sightings. We also were visiting the bay early in manatee season and we opted not to take the first tour of the day (which is when manatees are expected to be the most active). Despite all that, we saw SO MANY manatees, many of which chose to interact with us. The more we stayed away and observed them passively as we were instructed, the more curious of us they were. For us, this was a cold time of year to get in the water, but the adventure center had very thick wet suits and even provided coffee and hot chocolate when we got back onboard the boat. This was a fantastic experience and not to be missed. Laura, our guide, and our captain (I am embarrassed that I forget his name) we’re wonderful. We can’t wait to go back again.
