Mount Rainier stands as an icon in the Washington landscape. Mount Rainier, also known as Tacoma, is the highest mountain of the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest, and the highest mountain in the state of Washington. Mount Rainier is an active volcano and has the most glaciated peak in the United States. It spawns five major rivers, and the top of the mountain is covered with snow all year round. When snow melts, water flows down in a large volume, and gives Rainier National Park the best waterfalls, vast lakes, and lush green forests. Summer (May to Oct) itinerary: Seattle → Mt. Rainier National Park → Longmire Museum (20 mins) → Christine Falls (10 mins) → Narada Falls (40 mins) → Paradise Visitor Center (120 mins) → Reflection Lake (10 mins) → Seattle Winter (Nov to April) itinerary: Seattle → Mt. Duan was a great guide and driver on this day trip! He was very knowledgeable about the park and Mt Ranier and ensured we were comfortable throughout with water and snacks. He was also proactive and in touch before the day of the trip to advise of conditions and appropriate clothing/footwear and to reconfirm pickup times. Highly recommend getting out of the city and into this beautiful wilderness with a good guide like Duan. The hike was moderate difficulty but can be ramped up if desired!

Places of attractions depending on weather conditions. Some attractions are not open due to bad road conditions. We were lucky that roads were open. Our guide/driver even showed us extra locations and gave us plenty of time on each attraction.

Mark was an amazing guide on our Mt. Rainier tour today! He was incredibly patient, helpful and made sure we had a great experience. I truly appreciate his efforts in making the tour special. However, I was a bit disappointed that we weren’t informed ahead of time that some key stops like Reflection Lake and Paradise were closed. It would have been helpful to know this in advance to set proper expectations. That said, Mark still made the experience worthwhile and I would give him a full 5-star rating for his exceptional service!
