The driver/ guide was excellent. The contents of the tour can be completed on foot without a guide. We were sold a tour with a trip on the maid of the mist boat experience. This did not happen as this part of the tour does not start till late May.?I believe this tour was miss sold, I would expect the company to refund me for this part of the tour. Would I recommend this tour, not until they can confirm that the maid of the mist trip is going to happen.

The boat ride is seasonal and is governed by the US Coast Guard! Its season varies from year to year, depending on weather Conditions! This year the Boat started on 4/29. It was a rainy, cold, windy day . My husband was sick and couldn’t go. My Guide George picked me up at our hotel. I was surprised I was the only tourist and he wanted to continue the tour. You couldn’t have a guide with more knowledge and patience. He explained so much about the history of Niagra and was willing and able to answer my continued questions. I highly recommend the small group tour and guide George.

We booked a private tour for a group of 7. We were very disappointed as the tour itinerary did not match the expectation described. First, the Mist Boat tour was closed for the Spring season and we were not informed. We contacted the company to cancel. David offered to refund the cost of the boat tour so, I agreed. Day of tour, driver arrived 30 minutes late and the bus had a urine odor. Although, we booked a private tour, another small group was picked up. When I called David again, he said the reduced price was not a private tour which he had not explained. Lastly, the Cave of Winds tour was partially closed for the season. The driver was nice and knew a lot of history. Even so, I would not recommend.
