Orcas Island
4:00 PM Departure - Our two-hour guided cruise will depart from West Sound Marina, aboard a truly majestic vessel the "High Seas". Once owned by Hollywood royalty, the High Seas was built in 1935 by world famous naval architect John Alden, and over the past few years she has been restored to her previous glory. After a short reception and briefing from the Captain, we will proceed Southwest towards Pole Pass and Crane Island. You are welcome to sit back, relax and enjoy, as the Captain explains the history of landmarks along the way. Along our journey we will past many famous landmarks, such as Massacre Bay, Deer Harbor, Crane Island, Wasp Passage, Blind Bay and the San Juan Channel. With any luck we may spot orcas, humpbacks, minkes and occasionally even gray whales. The cruise will last approximately 2 hours and cruise will conclude safely back at West Sound Marina.
