Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

Take a step back in time and visit the old wild west and historic Las Vegas in the Spring Mountains of Red Rock Canyon. Here you will see the old Wilson’s homestead where life was carved out of desert wilderness. See stunning fauna and flora, an old west graveyard, the old cattle ranch, and a desert wilderness home of the world’s richest man - Howard Hughes!

Blue Diamond

Blue Diamond is a true old west mining town that dates back to the 1800’s. Built for workers of the Blue Diamond Mine, this quaint town in the middle of the gorgeous Red Rock Canyon conservation area has everything you’d want in an old west mining town - tiny homes including a historic home on the Old Spanish Pioneer Trail, it’s own general store, church and you may catch a wild Burro walking through town!

So close to Vegas, so far from ordinary. Add this tour to your visit. Begin to learn how the natives survived in this beautiful land where 99.9% of us would not.

The Tour Guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It was a great day out and nice to see a completely different side to Vegas than just the Strip, it was very peaceful and we both cam away feeling completely relaxed.
