This was a once in a lifetime tour. Kammi was our guide and was fantastic. He kept us safe and gave us snacks and water throughout the day. We had a wonderful catered lunch. Kammi was a precise and careful driver. Do NOT try to drive this yourself. Kammi is quite the historian and gave us 12 hours of almost nonstop history about Hawaii. We saw so many beautiful things! We swam at a black sand beach, jumped into a pool of water beside a waterfall, saw sea turtles on the beach, and stopped to buy freshly made banana bread. Kammi took photos for us at each stop. I would highly recommend this tour.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable. I just felt it was too much time in the car and not enough time exploring the road to hana. The only memorable sight we got off at was the black sand beach. Most of the other stops were food related or gift shop related. Some of the stops were just a quick picture stop. I thought there would be time to walk around and explore but this tour didn’t offer that experience.

It was not what I expected, you only travel all day in the car taking pictures inside, in some stops too but I was hoping to swim in one of the beautiful waterfalls that Maui has but we only saw them in passing, they only take you a while to a beach to enjoy it and the rest is just traveling, the dizzy pass, I recommend renting a car if you want to know this wonder of the island well

Aloha The waterfalls you are referring too are private property (EMI) unfortunately which tourists in rental cars have been trespassing on which now made the state and county put up no parking signs (35 citation and a 200 surcharge), no trespassing signs (prosecution and citation) and barricades to be placed. This unfortunate situation has created animosity from the residents on the road to Hana. Now a restrictive paid reservations system for all the popular sites on all the state parks on all islands.
