We'll spend some time learning about the rich history of Santa Fe and New Mexico.

Palace of the Governors

The Palace is the oldest continuously occupied public building in the United States.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi

Trace the history of the Southwest back to the Spanish colonization. (Cathedral is closed on Mondays & may occasionally be closed for entrance due to other events usually in the AM. We will still talk about the history)

Overall it was a great tour. the tour guide knew her material.The introduction to the history of Santa Fe. The right amount of time spent at each site with the background made each stop memorable. The variety of stops kept our interest. Our guide answered all of our questions.

Great tour guide who brought old photographs to show us what some of the places looked like in the past as she talked about the history. She was so knowledgeable and explained things so well that over the rest of the week I was able to tell things to my colleagues as we passed by various locations.

I've taken a lot of walking and food tours. This was not a good experience. Very little walking I think we may have gone a mile and a 1/2 in 2 hours. So good for people who are not very mobile I suppose. We saw 4 churches and La Fonda and that got a little bit boring after a bit. I'm sure they're more interesting places in Santa Fe. The Tour guide was difficult to hear and not very energetic. She spent the first 30 minutes from 930 to 10 o'clock standing in the square and talking through the history of Santa Fe, showing us pictures from a notebook, which you could see on Google. Not worth the fee.

Hi Champe, Santa Fe is a small town full of a lot of old history. It's still a relatively quiet little place. Sorry you didn't enjoy the tour, but I am grateful for your generous gratuity anyways.
