Then take short drive down the Great River Road, admiring other plantations from afar and learning their unique stories. Stop for a photo in front of Oak Alley Plantation's famous oak-lined esplanade before arriving at your last stop, Laura Plantation. Rene was wonderful! He was very entertaining. The van was clean. We had a nice time and learned a lot about New Orleans history.

Two terrific tours. Especially Laura with Logan as our guide. He did not gloss over the evils of America's Peculiar Institution as some other recent ante-bellum site visits tried to do. Rather, he was direct about the horrors. And it is that kind of brutal truth that we need these days.

Had a fantastic tour with Steve. He gave us a lot of good info on our ride out to the plantations. Laura plantation was amazing, learned a ton from the local guide who did our tour. This is a must for anyone visiting NOLA.
