Your tour guide will tell fascinating stories and share many interesting tidbits about local history, culture and wine making. Our specialty is intimate, light hearted and truly memorable experiences. Your guide will set up a tasty picnic lunch for you at a picturesque winery. Once the tour concludes, you will be dropped off from where you were picked up. The tour typically has 8-12 guests on board.

We are showing awesome (and COVID-safe) wine tours! Vehicles are frequently sanitized. Hand sanitizer on bus. Per CDC transportation guidelines, we recommend guests wear masks on board the tour shuttle. Safe, but still really fun.

Your tour will begin with pickup from your Napa Valley hotel. Where you are staying will define the tour region that you will be visiting. If your accommodations are outside of the winery region, you can arrange to meet us a general meeting spot. You’ll visit three charming, backroads wineries and be served a picnic lunch in an idyllic winery setting. Your tour guide will tell fascinating stories and share many interesting tidbits about local history, culture and wine making. This is not a smarmy or touristy activity. Our specialty is intimate, light-hearted and truly memorable. This tour is sure to entertain with a very approachable and easy-going style. Discover and savor new experiences tasting some of the world’s most celebrated wines. Our typical guest is not necessarily a wine expert but keen to learn a bit about wine and wine-making, and is open to sharing the experience with a few other like-minded wine adventurers.

We were two couples joined by two sets of three ladies. We had a fun and informative day with Gary and Platypus. There was plenty of room on our bus. The group engaged and had fun together. Everything was as promised from the tour company. Each winery was unique and interesting. I would recommend this tour for those that want to let someone else do the driving. Also if you are comfortable letting someone else pick the places you visit. We had a fun day!

My husband and I went with my brother and his wife on the Napa wine tour with Kym. She was excellent--pointed out where the fires were (we were curious, naturally) and took us to 4 wineries where we were treated extra special. None of this standing at the bar and tasting some wine while others crowd around! Our favorite was Benessere, where Michael took us on a tour past the vineyard and into the back where the barrels and "magic" happen. We learned a lot about wine and how to properly taste it, although this was truly an anti-snob wine tour as I read elsewhere. Of course, some of the wines were pricey (up to $65), but I guess that's to be expected at the boutique wineries. To sum up, it was a great time!

We were a small group of 8 and it was just gorgeous. We visited the smaller vineries and all of them had knowledgable, friendly and funny stuff. It is therefore a mixture of professional wine tasting and have relaxing funny day. We loved it!
