Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco

Overview
Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our guide Brian adapted the trip due to severe weather closing roads to ensure a great experience which we appreciate doing

Lots of driving time but, worth every minute. Touches all of the Yosemite highlights while avoiding the crowds and hassles.

This trip is really well thought out for the short time you have. If you are being picked up at the hotel, be sure to be on time as the schedule is really tight and doesn’t allow 5min delays 😭. As a female solo traveler, I really appreciated the safety small group and being able to ride in the copilot seat for a nice view during the ride. You can cover Yosemite essentials in a couple of hours if traffic and weather allows. It was great to have Brian as our guide, he had stories here and there along the ride and was knowledgeable about the technicalities of rock climbing. He has experience of his own climbing and hiking in the area, which is super useful to answer curious questions. Although this particular is very rock climbing centric, I enjoyed it very much because it was my main reason for visiting. However I would understand other people might not be so interested and would like to learn more about Yosemite and Sequoias beyond rock climbing. I would definitely come back again 🥰
