I went with my daughter and niece 3/18 onthe Yosemite trip. It was a last minute decision and we were lucky to have found a cancellation. It was the highlight of our trip to SF. Phil, our guide, was knowledgeable, kind, and brought us to some great places in the park. I would 100% take the trip again.

Thank you Alberto for a great day. What a trip this is, I couldn't believe how many different landscapes we drove through on the way to Yosemite the views were stunning that was before we had even made it to the park. I loved seeing the seqioas shame we couldn't get into tuolumne Grove and see the giant seqioas but it was the middle of winter just greatful to have seen some. The views inside the park are to die for everywhere you look you see something different. This tour is well worth the early start. Thank you for such a great experience.

Brian was a great guide. We really enjoyed the documentaries on rock climbing that he played in the van. It made viewing the actual rock climbers through Brian’s telescopes that much cooler. I do think the tour listing should be modified to note a few things however: 1) You very well may not be able to sit with your group on the bus. This wouldn’t be an issue but we really do spend a ton of time on the bus so it’s sucks to be separated where you can’t observe and discuss the view together. Brian made a good effort to tell people that when we get off the bus, it’s first come first serve when we get back on (even gave us 2 free beers to make up for the inconvenience). This would work great if people actually cared. Half the groups on the bus got in the habit of intentionally leaving their belongings at their seats so that they could have those same seats when we got back. Brian should tell people they can’t leave anything behind to avoid the “assigned seats” issue. 2) The trip name on TripAdvisor literally says “Giant Sequoias” in it but we couldn’t even go see the sequoias because the trail was frozen. The listing should really warn people of this. 3) We stopped at a very nice Grocery store on the way there and back so you can grab food to pack with you for the trip (or to eat on the way back). There is also a great food court with a ton of options at Yosemite that we stopped at. 4) I personally love to hike so if you’re the same, this may not be the best option for you. The allotted free time is nowhere near enough to get a good hike in on any of the trails. You can hike to lower Yosemite falls and deviate off the path to climb over the rocks and get closer, but beyond that there isn’t free time for anything else. Most of the group stops are simply for quick photo ops or short walks to viewing points.
