Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

This tour was fantastic! It was the perfect balance of guidance and free time. Had we tried to visit the park on our own, we would not have got to everything we were able to hit on this tour. Brian was a fantastic guide and shared a lot of interesting stories and facts that made us appreciate the park more. We are looking forward to coming back for another tour!

Our tour guide Brian made the day fun from start to finish. He did a super job adding context to what we were viewing. The views at Yosemite were spectacular and experiencing the peace and quiet of the Redwoods made the day complete.

Our tour guide Brian was excellent! He contacted us early on to know what to expect. His enthusiasm and knowledge of Yosemite was evident and appreciated. The day began early and on time as we were picked up right from our hotel- a nice convenience. He was especially kind and accommodating to a couple whose transportation had failed to meet us on time. The miles flew by as he either had stories or history to share with us. The movies in route were informative and helped us gain added perspective of what lay ahead for us. The timing of bathroom, snack stops and photo opportunities were well timed. I don’t know if the complimentary bottled water, binoculars and telescopes are included with other guides, but these added to the care and attention I felt Brian wanted to give our group. After a very long day, I would definitely sign up for his 2.0 tour of the park.
