Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.
Currently following local healthy and safety guidelines.

Small group, comfortable transportation and an outstanding personable guide. Alberto not only gave interesting commentary along the way, but made wonderful recommendations for making the most of our free time in the park. Early start with a pick up from our hotel was super convenient. Stops were well planned and well timed. There was a morning and evening stop for food. We never felt rushed. We stopped for photo ops at spectacular vistas, including getting very close to El Capitan. Our time in the park ended with a lovely forest hike to see sequoia trees. Alberto made sure we had an opportunity to see as many points of interest as possible. Being in a smaller vehicle meant no bus crowds or long waits. Video entertainment was provided on the return trip. And the cherry on top was being dropped back off at our hotel. A special note of thanks to BBAT for running our tour that day with less than the usual minimum of guests. We really appreciated it. It was the highlight of our stay in the Bay Area.

We were not disappointed with this tour and our multi tasking tour guide/ driver Brian impressed us with his professionalism and dedication to see to our needs and comfort. Most of us were seniors. We were a total of ten including 4 young adults. We helped each other though we started out as strangers. The sites that was part of the itinerary were awesome! The Tunnel view, El Capitan, Half Dome, the giant Sequoias, and Mirror Lake. The Yosemite valley was also an eye opener on what fruit orchards were present and wineries. All these Brian pointed out and gave good narratives and videos on board the Mercedes Sprinter 👍👏👏👏 Weather also was perfect. Though at this time of the year , the waterfalls were not in their majestic glory. Only a trickle 🤣. Thanks to the company Best Bay Tours! Our money was well spent 👍👌🎉🎉🎉

Nice day trip to see the essentials of the park. Very friendly driver and guide; I also got lucky with a nice group too.
