Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco

Overview
Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

Because car rentals are now a Premium, I sought an excursion out of San Francisco that would take us to Yosemite National Park. Tour guides, Brian and Phil, made this a very good decision on my part. They went out of their way to make the trip happen, having realized a lack of AC on one of their smaller buses and having labored to secure a larger bus that accommodated our two smaller groups. Brian picked us up (and later dropped us off) at our hotel at 6:00 am and took us to the larger bus where Phil was waiting to accompany our tour. He provided good information en route and stops along the way—including a food store where those who wished could buy a picnic lunch rather than having to take time in the Park’s cafe. Phil also had good suggestions for best time usage around Yosemite Falls and the Sequoia Grove. Our time in the Park made for a wonderful day, and we were back at our hotel by 9:00 pm. If a day seeing highlights in Yosemite is on your bucket list, I recommend this tour!

My wife and I toured with you on Friday the 4th of June. Your tour bus broke down and delayed our arrival by more than 3 hours. Consequently the tour had to be modified. We got back to San Francisco at 1:30 am. You need to have a better way of assessing the situation with your vehicles. The replacement vehicle had terrible rear shocks. Nonetheless, Brian did as good as possible understand the circumstances. He was very apologetic and made the trip as reasonable as possible. You should provide some means of paying for our misfortune because of your negligence in maintaining your vehicles. Robert and Brenda Gilbert

We understand that the tour you were on had problems. A bus breakdown is a rare happening, which every tour company fears. We service our vans monthly but unfortunately these thing do happen. We kicked into high gear and got a rescue van out immediately. You say that the itinerary was altered. This is not true. Once the bus was replaced, you saw everything that you would have seen otherwise. You say that we "should provide some means of paying for our misfortune". You don't mention that we refunded 50%, and paid for a $50 Uber to get you back to your airport hotel. You were the only one on that tour that asked for "a means of paying for our misfortune." Actually, we got a great review that day saying that the problem was handled quickly and professionally.
