Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.
Currently following local healthy and safety guidelines.

We really like this day trip to Yosemite! Our guide Steve was absolutely great! Very passionate and enthusiastic! What to expect from this trip? Steve collected us from our hotel early in the morning. Driving to the park took some time (roughly 3 h) but the scenery was beautiful and he played interesting documentaries about the park during the ride. During the day we spent quite a bit of time driving around, but at least we saw many different places. The hikes are easy (no special equipment or training required). You can find food and water along the way, so no need to take much stuff with you. Beautiful waterfalls, some wild life (bobcats, deers, birds…), amazing leaves colors and not so many people around (we were there at the end of October). Overall, it was a good "appetizer", and we can't wait to go back to Yosemite to see more of it!

We had a tour with Phil, and it was an amazing time! He was super knowledgeable about the city and the park, and lots of fun. The sights were breathtaking, and the hike was so serene. By the end of the tour we got to be buds with the other tour-takers, and at the end of our trip we bought a redwood sapling... Phil Jr 🌳

Wow! What can we say, from start to finish this trip was incredible! The bus was comfortable. At the start Phil told us all the we would not remember the first 4 hours or last 4 hours and he was so right! Phil was a great tour guide and driver. He was friendly, welcoming and extremely funny! He was so knowledgeable. The music (Phil-ify) added you the whole trip. The trip was so well planned and there were plenty of opportunities to get out the bus and explore the park. We just wanted to say thank you Phil. We have returned home with memories of a life time!
