Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.
Currently following local healthy and safety guidelines.

Incredible experience with Phil. He kept us entertained all the time making the long trip from San Francisco truly enjoyable from pickup to drop off. He was prepared with stories, equipment, and a cheerful spirit, calling everyone by their names and making sure everyone was having a great time in their own way.

This was an OK trip. I liked the short hike in the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias and seeing the El Capitan monolith from so close that you could spot the climbers with a bare eye. I feel a few changes could be introduced to make it more enjoyable. The number of "stops for a picture" could be cut in half and the saved time could be spent in the park's base to allow a 2-3h hike. In the morning (6am-ish) part, the bus travel could be done in silence to allow catching up with 1-2 hours of sleep (music and guide commentary are really unnecessary at that time!). Similar remark for the return time. Having to lose to 2 movies with the blasting sound was somewhat tough.

Really? Too many picture stops? So the tour you want to experience is three hours of silence, a three-hour hike, 2 picture stops, and three hour return in silence. Thank you for your suggestions on improving our tour, but I don’t think it would be much fun.

Yosemite was breathtakingly beautiful and Alberto was such a great guide. On time, funny, knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining. The group was small and that made the tour more enjoyable with less waiting around and pick ups and drop offs. Such a fun day. Would highly recommend
