Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

This was an excellent tour with Brian as our guide to see Yosemite in a day. He was very passionate about the nationql park which made his informative tour even better. Great communication the day before and throughout the day. We did plenty of stops and it was great to have time to explore ourselves at our own pace. Be aware that the 2 mile walk in the Sequoia trees is all down then back up hill, not easy for those who are not physically fit. It was fantastic to see these trees being protected.

Victor was our guide and he was very good. Small group and bus but full- probably 15 of us all up. Drive went by very quick! Didn’t feel 4 hours at all. When we arrived the park was full of smoke and we were unable to see a lot which was disappointing but you can’t control the weather! Thankfully it cleared up a bit by the afternoon. Yosemite is stunning and it only made we want to go again and spend longer in the park. I would advise people the walk to the trees later in the day can be challenging for some and you only see 3 trees and 2 fallen ones, something to consider. Drive back was great with Victor putting a film about the park and more food options on the way back too.

What a truly amazing experience. Brian was such a great host and the day was beyond our expectations. Whilst it’s a long day, it’s something that you need to experience whilst in San Francisco if you are not planning to travel around California and spend time in Yosemite itself Brian knowledge was immense, he kept everyone on track so we visited all the key sites and kept us all entertained on the bus with videos and updates of the area. If you have time, definitely book this trip. Would recommend 100%
