Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.
Currently following local healthy and safety guidelines.

Booked this not knowing what to expect. Phil was amazingly accommodating. He was a great tour guide with lots of energy and enthusiasm, keeping us engaged throughout the day. Very good way to cover Yosemite in a day!

Great time on this trip. Worth the money. Guide (Phil) was great. Knowledgeable, helped out with stories, and hidden things to see.

Brian was our tour leader He was great! Very kind, knowledgeable and interactive with everyone. He will reach out the evening before so he can confirm pick up details. He picked each of the participants at their pick up locations. It was super convenient and safe that I got picked up right in front of my hotel; I was a solo female traveler and was worried about having to walk around while it was dark out (pick-up 5:30am drop-off 8pm) during the ride he gives a summary off what to expect and some other interesting facts about animals, trees, climbers, then land. We stopped at local grocery store almost a half point for restrooms and food/beverages. Once we were inside the park there was another bathroom break then we started driving through hopping on and off for photo opportunities then around 11:30am we went off on our own to explore a different have lunch ( dinning lodge) Then some more riding around until the first final spot, sequoia grove. We saw deer, birds, squirrels, We didn't spot a bear :( but that's ok.. the park is such a beautiful place to be. The trip is worth it because if you go alone then you must book reservations and make sure you are current on what's open/closed. With the guide your entrance is Included they take care of that. Plus if you've never been before it's better to have someone else plan out the day so you relax and enjoy.
