Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

We absolutely loved our experience day, All 14 long hours of it! Victor our tour guide made the whole day 1000x better from 5am to 9pm; by his charisma, knowledge and passion for everything. When we got to Yosemite, there was a lot of smoke from the fires but this all made part of the experience! It was absolutely stunning to see, we felt like we were in a movie the whole day and would highly recommend to anyone! All the way from the U.K, with love x

Phil and Steven were great; really friendly and organised, and professional. They told us lots of interesting facts and tales about Yosemite and were always helpful such as taking photos for us, handing out bottles of water, or suggesting good angles to take the pictures from. The minivan was small but not uncomfortably so and the journey there and back (in my opinion) was fine and didn't seem that long. There were lots of stops for toilet breaks and a stop in the morning to buy food.

The part of the trip within the park was great. The tour guide/driver was great.The 4 hour ride each way was horrible. Unless you weigh less than 145 lbs, you are not going to fit the seats. I am an athletic 200 and my shoulders were a good 3 inches wider than the seat on both sides. 2 people side by side had to overlap by several inches. Impossible for both to sit back. Seriously, if you are not rail thin, look for a tour with a full sized tour bus instead of a 16 passenger van.
