Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.
Currently following local healthy and safety guidelines.

We took this tour back in May 2022; it was a very long day but well worth it. We were picked up from our hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf at 05:30 by our tour guide and driver Ben. He was great; very knowledge, very funny and kept us well informed throughout the day. Yosemite is amazing and the tour stopped at all the major vantage points and sights, with enough time to walk the shorter routes and see all the waterfalls. There is a well-timed stop at a good supermarket for food, coffee and water on the way there and back, so perfect for lunch and dinner (if you can’t be bothered to do anything after like us). The only downside for us was the transportation. The minibus used wasn’t the cleanest or most comfortable, especially with it being 8-10 hours of driving/sitting. If you have limited time then we would definitely recommend this tour. However, be prepared for a very long day in a minibus. Also – not technically part of the tour, but the view of the San Francisco skyline immersed in fog at sunset on the drive back in over the Bay Bridge were spectacular. Fog permitting, it’s definitely worth trying to stay awake for this.

Excellent trip, the quality organisation goes a long way . Quite a long drive but well worth it during a stay in San Francisco. Steven was brilliant interacting with everyone and was thoroughly prepared. Relaxing music and a roomy coach.

From start to finish, this tour was amazing! Phil was very professional, knowledgeable and personable! His playlists were awesome, and his knowledge of all things Yosemite as well as picture taking skills made the trip exciting and memorable! We are still in awe of everything he showed us and everything we were able to experience! Do not hesitate to book this trip! It’s definitely the BEST of the best!
