Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

Best trip to take if you're in the bay area for a short trip. Our guide Phil made it even better! The mini bus was comfortable, only thing we wouldve appreciated was some arm rests to prevent us from feeling like we'll fall from the sharp turns! Yosemite was a vision to see and we were lucky to see some climbers as well. We get about 1.45 hours to spend time on our own. The sequoia hike back up was tedious if you're out of shape, but we survied so can you!

Phil our driver and guide was wonderful! The music playlist was clever and upbeat. He shared interesting facts about various points en route. He brought some telescopes for us to gaze at the beautiful landscape and climbers too! I would highly recommend the experience! Don’t forget your sunscreen and hat if you’re going during the summer.

We had an incredible time with Phil. He was so witty and knowledgeable, kind and attentive without being overbearing. The info he shared about SF, CA and Yosemite was fascinating, and the stop at a family-run fruit stand/store was really special; again demonstrating the benefit of a tour as we would never have known to stop there!! It was a great bit of California to see and support. The photo stops were brilliantly planned and his insider advice as to where to go for the best shots resulted in us getting some great pictures too. Finally, the group that the tour brought together was lovely and efforts made up front in the day to get us all chatting and relaxed paid dividends. The carefully curated and sometimes hilarious themed playlists really added to the journey.
