Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

It is a long tour but a great way to see some amazing sites. Brian, our guide, was great. He played videos about Yosemite on the way in and a few movies on the way home. There were stops along the way for snacks as well. There were about 4-5 stops in Yosemite and all were amazing. It was hotter than planned but worth it. Water provided as well as hotel pick up and drop off which was great.

Glad I went with Best Bay Tours. Phil was on time and a funny, excellent guide. He entertained us during our long drive and show us all the features of Yosemite. He even brought his own binoculars so we can see the climbers on El Capitan. If you ever plan a trip to Yosemite, take this small group tour. Your time wont be wasted compared to other big tours. we also got home on time.

We had the most memorable day on this tour! We booked last minute and weren't disappointed, it was the highlight of our trip to San Fransisco! Phil was our guide for the day and he was absolutely amazing - he was full of knowledge and facts, friendly, funny and made the drive very interesting! The transport was so comfortable too. Yosemite itself is the most spectacular place I've ever seen, if you're considering visiting go and choose this company, it's definitely a place you need to go with an expert to get the full experience.
