Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.
Currently following local healthy and safety guidelines.

Our tour to Yosemite was on 6-30-22. Our tour guide-VICTOR was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable & caring. A very safe driver. It’s a long tour, but VICTOR made it enjoyable and of course the view is phenomenal. We also bumped into the owner-PHIL, in Yosemite on his own tour, decent guy, had ice pops waiting for all of us at the end of our long hike. Yosemite is spectacular, pictures don't do it justice, must see in person. (Bring a charger, you'll need it). Also cell service most of the time is non existent, but that's ok, you went for the views. Definitely a must do tour. * A great piece of advise to anyone going on this tour, please be on time, it not only affects your fellow passengers aboard but our tour guides. Cali has strict rules & regulations for the tour guides driving schedule. Thank You Victor, for a once l'm a lifetime opportunity. 😉

We were contacted the day prior to departure to confirm our appointment which provided peace of mind. The van was waiting outside our hotel 10 minutes before our pick-up time of 6am. The driver(Alberto) was a great guide for the day. It is roughly a 3.5 hour trip from SF to Yosemite. We stopped about 1/2 way for a snack/restroom break. Once arriving at Yosemite, Alberto took us to each of the specific landmarks as promised when booking. He was very knowledable and friendly even buying bottled water for us. I cannot give Alberto enough stars so I guess 5 will have to do. Yosemite was amazing and I have nothing negative to say about the trip or service provided by Best Bay Area Tours via Alberto. My family highly recommends and would consider doing again if we are in California in the future.
