What To Expect
1
Lake Champlain
Our tour starts on the waterfront of beautiful Lake Champlain where we will look far back in time to this area before Europeans and the cultures and people that called this place home.
2
ECHO Leahy Center For Lake Champlain
In part because of the incredible natural surroundings, Vermonters have always been deeply passionate about the environment. From the forests of old, to the forests of new, we'll explore just how this place protects its land.
3
City Hall Park
Urban renewal is a concept most urban dwellers engage with daily - Burlington pioneered it with their commons - a music-filled gathering point for residents and visitors alike. Learn how this city established a path others followed decades later to make the new American city.
4
Flynn Center for the Performing Arts
We love a good show - as the largest theater between Albany and Boston, the Flynn has it all - musicals, rock bands, comedy tours. Some of those visitors have been quite famous and gotten up to some crazy antics while here, we'll tell you more when you get here..
5
Burlington City Arts Center
Free revolving galleries with some amazing local artists? Check. What else is there to say?
6
Church Street Marketplace
There is no better place to explore than the Church Street Marketplace - a multi-block pedestrian-only plaza that showcases the best New England, and local entrepreneurs, have to offer. We'll explain the history of this oldest part of Burlington and its conversion to what you see today.

The tour was informative and interactive. While Burlington is not a big city, we were not familiar with its highlights. The walking tour gave us structure to our exploration and provided information we wouldn’t have known otherwise.

The information is very interesting. Nice walk through the downtown area. It took me about 45 minutes to complete the tour. I felt it was a little pricey for the time/content. It is nice to do it at the convenience of my availability as opposed to a scheduled time.
