Smartphone-Guided Walking Tour of D.C. Monuments Hidden Stories

Overview
Our smartphone-guided tour brings the real facts and stories behind the National Mall and monuments to life with the quality of a personal private tour crafted by DC locals. We've taken the same stops and sights we share with our friends and families beyond the monument and created an interactive web-based tour for you!

Read the stories behind the history and answer questions to reveal fun facts as you go. Purchase your tour and then navigate to our website to enter your access code and launch the tour. You can either start immediately or create an account and come back when you are ready to explore.

Please note that you and your group read the tour aloud to one another - there is no audio functionality at this time.

What To Expect
1
Lockkeeper's House
This is one of the oldest structures on the National Mall - at one point a jail, a residence, an office, and now, a place to remember what DC looked like in the early 1800s.
2
Organization of American States Headquarters Building
Washington is fill of the headquarters of various international organizations - this one is for countries in the Americas, with its own art museum next door!
3
General Jose Gervasio Artigas
What is a South American general doing on the side of the street in DC? You'll never guess - but we'll tell you!
4
Constitution Gardens
We love the National Mall because of the diversity of things to do on it - for a more restful side of the city, Constitution Gardens and the lagoon here are a favorite place for tourists and White House staffers, alike.
5
Vietnam Women's Memorial
Next-door to the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial, this forested statue honors the sacrifice that women made to the Vietnam War, from nursing overseas to enduring at home.
6
Lincoln Memorial
One of the most recognizable buildings in the world holds more history than just the inscriptions on the wall - our final stop explores the legacy of Lincoln.
