What To Expect
1
Roebling Suspension Bridge
Our tour starts at the iconic first bridge across the Ohio River. This bridge speaks to Cincinnati's rich history, global influence (it should look familiar to a bridge in NYC) and rich artistic heritage.
2
Smale Riverfront Park
Cincinnati isn't known as one of the greenest cities in the US for nothing! Explore this phenomenal park that also fights flooding, from carousels to labyrinths to memorials.
3
Great American Ball Park
Baseball is a competitive sport, the debate over its origins more so. However, Cincinnati absolutely claims the first professional team in the world, and today the Reds play right here.
4
National Underground Railroad Freedom Center
People often wonder why this 'national' museum is in Cincinnati - what they don't know is that the Ohio River was the final barrier to freedom seekers and Cincinnati a hot spot for abolitionists and a key stop on the Underground Railroad.
5
The Mercantile Library
We love a good secret library. Eleven stories above you exists a member's library with nearly 20,000 books and a unique founding. You can even go visit, just take the elevator up!
6
Contemporary Arts Center
When do world famous architects and nationally reported lawsuits come together? At the non-collecting Contemporary Arts Center, which with free admission has been a site for Cincinnatians for decades.
7
Fountain Square
The heart of Cincinnati has always been under the the open arms of the Genius of Water fountain, here the city comes together for the largest Oktoberfest outside of Germany and salsa dancing on Thursday nights.

First time doing a smartphone-guided walking tour so it took some time to become familiar with how it worked Once we overcame the lack of familiarity, itworked great. The tour organized our walking and made the experience enjoyable. The tidbits on the sights added interesting background/history. The length of the tour and number of sights was about right for us. There were only a few sights that we had trouble finding - it would have helped to know that the first sight was inside a building. The location at the ballpark was also hard to find. Overall, we enjoyed the tour and would likely do it again in another city/location if available.

This tour was a super nice way to get a sense of the city on our first trip to Cincinnati. The stops had a lot of information we never would have known and the maps were really helpful for navigation. My wife loved that we could go at our own pace and not hold a group up. Highly recommended!

I took my kids and they enjoyed answering the trivia questions. The website worked great on my phone. I would recommend to anybody who wants a tour of Cincinnati.
