It was interesting to see the falls and learn some history of the Snogualmie Indians. We saw the falls from below and from overtop which offered an interesting perspective. The St. Michele winery was beautiful but we almost did not get a tasting as we did not have an appointment and they weren’t expecting us. As we were leaving, I asked a gentleman who was in charge of we could please have a tasting and he accommodated us. We all got a wine flight but no one stayed with us and explained the wine to us which is what I expect from tastings. It was all rather strange. We then rode through the historic town but did not have the opportunity to get out and browse the shops. The guide, Susan, seemed to love nature but appeared to be very new and inexperienced. She is a lovely person but was not well groomed and the snacks provided appeared to be an afterthought. She also spoke in an extremely low tone so we had a very hard time hearing her while she was driving. She should invest in a microphone so she can be heard better. However, she is very knowledgeable about the falls, the railroads, the town of Snoqualmie and Seattle in general and she certainly knew what to show us and where to stop and get out for good photo ops. Overall, it was a nice experience and Susan just needs a bit more experience and her presentation a bit of sprucing up.

Absolutely fabulous and well worth it. Susan showed us so much that we would otherwise not know what to look for. She was very knowledgeable about the areas and had a great passion for us as her guests. Would 100% do this again.
