Sol Duc, Lake Crescent, and Hurricane Ridge Guided Tour in Olympic National Park

Overview
This 9 Hour Guided Tour begins with a scenic drive through the Elwha Valley and around Lake Crescent to reach the Sol Duc River Valley. At the Sol Duc, we will enjoy a two mile guided hike to Sol Duc Falls, one of Olympic National Park's most picturesque waterfalls. After exploring the Sol Duc, our guests will wrap up the morning explorations at Lake Crescent, a stunning, glacier-carved lake that is outlined by beautiful mountains. From the historic Lake Crescent Lodge, guests can enjoy time on trail hiking or enjoy the views from the well-positioned lodge. After stopping in Port Angeles, our tour continues with a scenic drive from sea-level to 5,242 feet elevation atop Hurricane Ridge. Upon arrival, our guide will lead a guided hike along the subalpine nature trails to enjoy views of the meadows, peaks, and river valleys of the Olympic Mountains.

AMAZING! I wish I had selected all of the peninsula tours offered, but my time in the area was short. This one did not disappoint. I would use this company again in a heart beat. Thanks Eric for an excellent adventure.

This was a waste of money and time. This trip was suppose to be 4 hours- however it turned out to take 40 minutes each way to get to and from Hurricane Ridge. Our guide took us for a short hike that was maybe an hour. He then brought us to a spot for a rest. He said he would return after a bathroom stop however he ended up taking a hike on his own and came back 40 minutes later. We didnā€™t know if he left us stranded there or not. We wasted $170 on a very short walk that we could have easily done on our own. The hiking company even used our senior National Park pass to enter which in turn saved them money. I donā€™t know how it was determined this hike was worth $170-which I wish I had back!

Hi Margaret, Iā€™m sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations. I reviewed and received your feedback and have already issued a full refund on our end prior to this review after your first email to us. We want to provide positive memories for travelers exploring Olympic National Park and I understand that we didnā€™t meet your goals Sunday afternoon. I hope the rest of your trip to the Pacific Northwest goes well.

It was a perfect day for a visit. The visibility was excellent, a few cumulus decorated the mountains. We did go on several trails (some were even paved). Itā€™s a must see park if one is within driving distance.
