This was such an amazing experience. The guides were extremely knowledgeable on fly fishing and on where to fish in the area. I was a beginner angler and learned so much about fly fishing, the guides really accommodate for different skill levels and the angler’s fishing interests. Everything about the business is so wholesome and the people are really nice! If I could rate this experience at 50 stars I would! If I come back to the area the first thing am going to do is book with Echo again!

I went out with Echo (Bryant) in late August and had an amazing time. It was the first time fly fishing for me and it totally surpassed my expectations. The nature around Yosemite, Stanislaus Forest and the Tuolumne River was the perfect setting, and the “adventure” that Bryant took me on was the perfect compliment. I was picked up at my accommodation and given the choice between several locations, we quickly agreed on a hike + fish tour into a more remote and wild area with good potential for unique trophy fish. We hiked and fished an stunning, clear turquoise river with fish constantly rising. Even though I was a beginner, Bryant got me fishing immediately taking me through step-by-step along the way – very calm, patient and humorous Bryant quickly got me to an acceptable level, I would say ;-). His passion and expertise for fly fishing and absolute customer commitment are exemplary. It was the perfect mix of teaching and giving me time to indulge in this unique experience. I had several hits and almost “netted” one big trout (same for Bryant but of course he actually netted them). In the end, his and my passion got us into severe overtime with some complimentary night fishing – thank you very much, Echo and Bryant, for a perfect day of fly-fishing! BTW: equipment (pro rods and gear!), safety measures, and communication all was perfectly organized – totally hassle free, easy, and secure feeling for me all along!
