I enjoyed tasting the wines. The best was we got to taste the grapes that make the wines. A jolly experience being it was my first time going to Santa Barbara for my Birthday TOM was an awesome host two thumbs up

Our wine tour was excellent! My wife and I were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary and decided to get out of the house a bit. We took a drive from LA up to Solvang and that's where we met Tom. He was very professional, courteous, and respectful of all the new COVID-19 guidelines. We felt very safe and were around very few, masked people during our trip. Tom took us to some small, private vineyards and wineries. We learned a lot, got some great wines, and helped to support a small community that really depends on tourism. I can't wait to go back again and will surely give Artisan a call next time I'm out. Thanks!

This is a small tour company, I think the driver is the owner. Very friendly, took us to 3 wineries that were in different categories but small boutique operations. Did not feel rushed at all, he kept the pace that the group wanted. Picked us up right on time at our Solvang hotel. Only lost a star for minor reasons: asked for gratuity up front prior to the tour during phone booking (a pet peeve of mine), incorrect lunch order (probably not his fault, he ordered from a local deli), and, well, once you've done a great wine tour with sugar testing, fresh grape tastings, snacks, and a really knowledgeable host who teaches you about wine, it's hard to give anyone 5 stars who doesn't do at least some of those things. But still, this is a good budget tour, basically a friendly driver to take you between wineries and handle the tasting fees.
