We loved our Sonoma food tour with Renee! There were four official stops, but we really ended up with six thanks to an olive oil tasting and a chocolate tasting in between stops. Each of the three restaurant stops included one or more tasty dishes and a wine pairing, with a wine tasting as the final stop. As we walked around the square Renee told us about the history of Sonoma and movies that were filmed there; at each location she had a lot of information about the wine we were drinking and the wineries it came from. We were especially fortunate to have Peter the winemaker along on our tour, we were grateful to learn his tips about wine tasting (and smelling!) and learn more about the science and art of winemaking. Food tours are an awesome way to really get to know a neighborhood, and this is no different--we learned so much about Sonoma history and local life than we ever would have on our own. When we return in the future we will definitely attend Renee's other tours in Napa or Yountville!

We spent a fantastic afternoon with Renee who took us to 3 of the best restaurants in Sonoma (a couple that are usually very difficult to get into!) where we were served small to medium-sized plates, then on to an olive oil and balsamic vinegar producer, then a chocolatier, then a winery tasting room. She interspersed these experiences with an engaging talk on Sonoma history and visits to historical sights, all around the beautiful Sonoma Plaza. I highly recommend this tour for foodies and non-foodies alike.

Excellent tour and tour guide! Arlene was so knowledgeable and sweet. Food choices and wine pairings on point. Extra pleasant surprise was that Alan from Visitors Center joined our tour and he had even more interesting info to add. Would highly recommend this tour, especially at the beginning of your trip to help guide your choices of restaurants and -places to explore.
