Experience the Sonoma wine region in a unique way – on the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley. Hop aboard this historical replica of a San Francisco cable car and grab a seat on a special wine tasting adventure you will never forget. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30.

What To Expect

Sonoma Valley

Your day in California wine country starts as you hop aboard the Sonoma Wine Trolley, modeled after the famous historical cable cars of San Francisco. Enjoy the breeze as your knowledgeable tour guide whisks you off to four outstanding Sonoma-area wineries, known for both their wines and their hospitality. Each wine tasting takes place at the winery and a representatives at each winery will explain the different varietals you’ll sample and the background of the wineries (wine tasting fees are not included and you can expect fees of $30 to $40). There will be wonderful photo opportunities on this tour and your friendly guide will be happy to take a photo or two of your group so you can document your memorable day in wine country.

Great experience. Lexi our driver was excellent and the other passengers on the trolley were all friendly and fun. Lunch was good and in a nice setting. Only negative would be the choice of some of the wineries. When you are paying the tasting fee at each winery there are better options in and around Sonoma.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. The weather was excellent and the vineyards looked superb. Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. We had a problem with cancellation but our driver and guide Lexi solved this for us very well. The whole experience was super and we could definitely recommend it to anyone interested in wine!!!

Visit to the first winery. It was a winery with its own vineyards. The wines were the best of all the places we visited on the tour.
