An amazing experience all around! Scott was FANTASTIC! His passion for the desert, knowledge, kindness, and professional demeanor made the experience so special for our group. He really put the ball in our court and cultivated an experience around our group’s needs. One thing that really stuck out to me was how he told us he wouldn’t be offended if we stopped listening to him so we could enjoy the sunset 🥲 He also called attention to the amount of missing indigenous women in the area and I thought that was a true testament to his character. Would highly recommend and feel lucky for anybody who has Scott as a tour guide!

This was a very fun activity and well worth the time. Our driver Steve was knowledgeable and had fun facts to share that our kiddo enjoyed learning. But while we love seeing the sunset across the desert, I think we would have loved the daytime tour more only because there is so much more you want to see. On this tour, we saw a lot going out but once the sun sets, you couldn’t see anything else so the drive back is mostly in the dark. For those that have young kids, we brought our 5 year old and she really enjoyed the tour as well. The ride is bumpy and jerky so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone under 4. Also be sure to bring a booster seat so they can sit up high and see everything as well but also the seatbelts don’t really fit a smaller child that well. As everyone else suggested to bring a jacket. It may feel hot in the city at night but the desert doesn’t retain the heat so it does get cold. But also the drive to and from is windy. They do have blankets and a floor heater so it’s really the upper half you want to cover up. The only thing I would add that made us uncomfortable was the driver kept commenting on how well AZ did through COVID because of the no mask mandate. Everyone doesn’t feel the same and it’s not the place and time to share a personal opinion with a group that not everyone may not agree with.
