Mark was a great guide. He did a great job of showing off the Arizona desert in an interesting way. Really enjoyed the experience, and the sunset views were amazing. Would highly recommend this tour!

The main issue with this activity was the seating in the Jeep. If you are unlucky enough to get the larger Jeep, you’ll find yourself staring at the people across from you and missing everything that is going on behind you as far as wildlife, plants, homes, etc. And the seating also was very uncomfortable for my husband as far as legroom. I feel the money we paid for this was way too much for a very mediocre experience. The tour guide did her best to make things seem relevant and exciting, but everything just fell flat. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this tour.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate all reviews and use them to constantly improve our products. In an effort to keep our prices the lowest in the valley among reputable tour operators, we adopted the standard airline practice of assigning guests to the seats that they purchase. It appears that you and your husband purchased a public tour and were assigned to a 14-seater off-road vehicle designated for public tours. Like airline economy seating, you will be assigned to vehicles with seating designated for public tours when you purchase a public tour. If you purchase a private tour, you will have a choice between vertical-facing seating or horizontal-facing seating, subject to party size and vehicle availability (see Private Scottsdale Off-Road Jeep Tour via TripAdvisor). All vehicles in our fleet are open-air vehicles with 360-degree views. Thank you again for choosing us to host your off-road adventure. We hope that you have a wonderful rest of your stay in Scottsdale.

To be honest, when a friend booked this activity for us during a recent trip, I thought it was going to be another boozy bumpy ride around the desert. But it was anything but! The timing was amazing and so was the guide. I absolutely encourage you to pick Trevis as your guide. This man not only geeked out about the smallest things - but truly had a passion for what he was sharing. Watching him get excited about the random info was as entertaining as the sunset itself. This was as close to the Magic School Bus ... and Trevis was Miss Frizzle! I seriously was bracing for that jeep to shrink and go through a jumping cholla needle. He engaged a large group and made it feel as if he was part of our friend group. What a special activity and will definitely do it again when I'm back.
