Our guide’s name was Steve. He was very informative and knew a lot about the dessert plants and animals. The sunset was breathtakingly beautiful. Steve also made sure we were comfortable and well hydrated at all times. It was the highlight of our trip! I highly recommend this geep tour.

We did the Night tour. A really great tour. Recommend ask for ‘Nick’ as your tour guide. Nick is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. Arriving at desert destination Nick regaled us with history of the Navajo and Arapaho tribes, warring between the tribes, against the US government, Geronimo, WW2 Code-talkers, even a story about a person who perished when went on a horse ride by herself. Desert is so beautiful but can be so dangerous. Wished we could have sat down over drinks and listen to Nick tell us more. Saw some wildlife. Heard what sounded like a coyote killing a small animal. Things we would change if we could: Biggest negative was the seating in the Jeep. We were put in the one used for parties. We could not see out front. Seating faced each other so we were looking at the faces of the people opposite us. To see the landscape I had to look between the people facing us or over their heads. My wife could not see over the heads of the people facing us and missed seeing a lot of the landscape. Second, we could not hear Nick on the way out nor on the return because of road and trail noise. Missed a lot of his information when riding in Jeep. If we sat up front we could have heard him but our seats were towards the back. Could resolve this problem if had a sound system for the driver to use. Third, when we pulled into parking lot we found the arrows pointing us to their office a little confusing. The desert was great when we reached our destination. Getting there left a lot of room for improvement. If you are in the area put this on your bucket list. Only make sure you get a regular Jeep with seats facing front or you will be sorely disappointed in the ride out and back. Go and enjoy the beauty of the desert at night. You will be richly rewarded. Nick and his crew - Thank You.

Thank you for your review. We really appreciate all feedback and use it to constantly improve our transportation services. We are happy to hear that you had a great time on your sunset tour with Nick. He is one of our most experienced tour guides and has a plethora of historical knowledge. Our vehicles equipped with vertical seating are reserved for privates tours. It appears that your party purchased a public tour. If you would like to be in a vehicle with a specific layout, I recommend purchasing a private tour. I’m sorry to hear that you could not hear Nick during some portions of your tour. Our vehicles are equipped with PA systems that evenly distribute sound throughout the vehicles. I will forward this feedback to our maintenance section to see if there is a speaker malfunction. I am pleased that you were able to hear Nick's narration on Sonoran desert flora, fauna, and Native American history. I’m sorry to hear that the arrows pointing to our office were confusing. We will certainly look into ways to improve our signage and confirmation email instructions. I recommend using Google maps which navigates directly to the front door of our operations office. We also have a map under the “Contact Us” page on our website. If you would like to share anymore feedback, feel free to email us directly. Thank you for choosing us to host your off-road adventure. We hope you have a wonderful remainder of your time in Scottsdale.
