Tour needs a minimum of 5 people to go. We will let you know if we don't meet the minimum 1-2 days before the tour so you can book a different experience or request the same one as a private.
Provide a good phone number when booking. We will be contacting you the day before the tour via text with tour details and/or any changes. Acknowledge our text when you get it.
Wear comfortable clothes. Sandals and flip flops are great for this tour. I recommend wearing a cap/hat, and sunglasses.
If you weight 300 lbs + you need to contact us to let us know so we can better accommodate you. You will need to provide an additional fee that will secure you an extra seat.
No cancellations pass the 48 hours prior to that start of the tour.

What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Our journey begins with a drive through the backcountry and local neighborhoods of Wailua. this town used to be the main center of government in ancient times. In this sacred area we will visit Poliahu Heiau, an ancient Hawaiian temple of worship, Opaekaa Falls, and Wailua River lookout (largest navigable river in the state) from two different angles. Do you like movies? We will show you were some scenes have been filmed.

Lydgate State Park

Next is a worthwhile visit to lovely Lydgate Park. Here we will show you another ancient temple of worship, a beautiful area you will want to come back to spend the day relaxin and/or swimming. Here you will take a leisure walk along Lydgate path, and get your feet wet Morgan ponds (optional).

Wailua Falls

We will marvel at the beautiful Wailua Falls from the famous TV show "Fantasy island" and will have an opportunity to shop for local crafts.

Spouting Horn

On our way to the Spouting Horn we will drive through the famous Tree Tunnel. Travelers will see an ancient lava tube that is now a water blow hole created by the ocean waves. We will share the mythical legend Hawaiian legend tied to this place. We will also take you to a secret location to see Hawaiian green sea turtles weather permitting.

Poipu

We will enjoy a delicious ocean front lunch at Lavas in Poipu. Farm to table food, many options to choose from, and a full bar available.

Menehune Fish Pond

We will visit one of Kauia's oldest archeological sites located in a breathtaking wild life reserve in Lihue town. As you enjoy the beautiful scenery we will share with you the restoration project that is taking place, the old time legend of the little people of Hawai'i known as "The Menehunes" who built the pond, and the many Hollywood movies filmed in this area.

Coco was amazing! She is so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Not only did we learn so much about the island, we saw the most beautiful waterfalls, rivers, and beaches. Lunch was also delicious. Overall, a terrific day, even in sporadic pouring rain. Thanks Coco!

What a wonderful day spent with Coco!! We were entertained and educated with her stories and her knowledge. The stops and views were wonderful. It was nice to be in a smaller van and it was very comfortable. The lunch stop was delicious and a great view. Coco is a fun and caring guide, who made the day extra special. I’d love to do a different tour with her!
