What To Expect

Sandy Feet Sandcastle Services

A qualified instructor will meet you at beach access #16, located at 4400 Gulf Blvd., South Padre Island, Texas. There you will learn a series of techniques for building and carving a better sandcastle. This is hands-on instruction, and in 1 hour you will have a completed (or mostly completed) sand castle, perfect for a family photo op.

Our family was visiting over the holidays and our large group of kids ages 8-18 had an absolute blast learning how to build sandcastles from the best! Lucinda and Jose took time to learn everyone's names and helped each to perfect their techniques. Scheduling was simple, quick, and email communication was timely (usually within an hour!). I was able to pay online before we arrived which was convenient. We started on time and our lesson lasted the full 2 hours. One of the younger kids was especially chatty and asked Lucinda at least 1000 questions and Lucinda visited and chatted with her a bunch. They were kind, engaged, and obviously are passionate about building sandcastles! Highly recommended activity for kids and for grown-up kids-at-heart.

So you thought you knew how to build a sand castle?! Nope! Not until you get to work with these professional artist! You get to learn all the tips, tricks, and techniques to create an awesome sand sculpture! So fun! Could have done this all day! Thanks Silvy!

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We initially had to cancel on the original day due to rain. Fortunately the next day another activity we had planned was canceled. The weather the next day was also very sunny and warm. We made a sandcastle with Jose who was very helpful. We learned about the basic science of sandcastle building which was also cool. Would recommend for families or couples.
