What To Expect

Sandy Feet Sandcastle Services

A qualified instructor will meet you at beach access #16, located at 4400 Gulf Blvd., South Padre Island, Texas. There you will learn a series of techniques for building and carving a better sandcastle. This is hands-on instruction, and in 1 hour you will have a completed (or mostly completed) sand castle, perfect for a family photo op.

Our family had an hour and a half lesson with Jose. He was great with our kids and explained everything with humor and so that we could all understand. We had several passers by stop and remark on how cool our castle looked (even though our just-learned skills definitely needed some honing). Jose’s sections were amazing. It was so much fun learning and discovering that we’ve had no idea how to build a sandcastle our whole lives. We definitely now have a lot of new tricks and techniques that make our castles much stronger and larger and cooler looking. This is money and time well spent bonding and learning together.

I booked my husband and I for Sandcastle 101. He went along but wasn't excited about it. We had Sandy and she quickly showed us how people build sandcastles wrong and how to do it right! It was fascinating. We both had a fantastic time and had a great sandcastle by the end of our 1.5 hour lesson. Sandy shows how you can use simple everyday items to build a masterpiece.
