Went on the Half Day Sunset Adventure with my boyfriend while visiting St. George for a few days. This was our first time riding ATVs for both of us and I was a little nervous going in. I reserved single rider ATVs but was considering seeing if we could change it so I could ride passenger. After we got there, I decided to give the solo driving a try and I am so happy I did. I don't think it would have been quite the same if I was riding passenger. The guides were very good at making us feel comfortable and safe. They explained how to use the ATVs clearly and worked up to higher speeds as the experience progressed. They took us to different locations and explained the history. In addition, they provided snacks and water and offered to take pictures of us as often as we wanted. It was nice to take breaks because my hand was getting a work out pressing on the accelerator. It also allowed us to really take in the views that the locations offered as sometimes I was so focused on driving I had to remind myself to look at my surroundings from time to time! It was amazing! By the time we closed out the experience at the sand dunes, I was grinning like a child and could barely contain myself from screaming with delight over how exhilarating it was. Even if you aren't staying in St. George, I would recommend driving over from Vegas because it is totally worth it! Although ATVs tours are offered at other locations, I can't imagine it being as perfect as this one. If you are scared, just do it! You won't regret it!
Also, it is worth noting that the meeting point is right next to Sand Hollow Beach so would recommend going there before or after your experience as well. The water, mountains, and orange sand were so beautiful together and oddly, it was not busy at all. What a sanctuary!

Thank you for the wonderful compliments! Our guides are simply the best around and they all just love showing our guests a bit of their backyard. We are proud to say that that is a reason we have been number #1 and continue to be THE #1 tour company in Southern Utah Not only is safety our main concern but we also take into consideration each and every guest's needs! We get to share Sand Mountain with all of our guests, and we love it. There are over 16,000 acres of amazing Bureau of Land Management land with over 6,000 acres of "living" sand dunes that we get to utilize. The views from the top of the mountain are nothing short of spectacular! You might even get the opportunity to see 3 states at one time as well as view Zion National Park, Warner Valley, Pine Valley mountains and the entire St. George valley.
